    HOW TO READ A MOVIE

When I watch movies, I more so theorize than analysis. I always have some kind theory on why and how an event occurred in a movie, but I do analysis some to come up with my crazy conspiracies. So I found the How To Read A Movie, fun to read. It is about how to analysis a movie and how critics judge movies. Some of the information Ebert gave I already knew which as the when a camera gets close shots, the directors wants you to pay attention to that certain scene or moments. But there were things that I do not know such as directors will put people in…

    Radio Show Reflection

I think my group did a great job with our radio show, but when it came down having to listen to it, I got a bit worried. There is a huge difference when you are just listening to it with your group and having the whole class listen to it, plus comment on Twitter about. So I was a little over whelmed, to say the least, of other would think about my groups show, but everyone seemed to like it. It was nice reading tweets about my radio show and communicating with others.  I found it really fun because nothing written was too serious, everything was just giggles and laughs. I also…

    Creativity is Key

I have always been into the art of design, but I can not draw and I am not too knowledgeable about the world of design. The most I have doven into design, is my everyday fashion and my frequent visits to Pinterest, pinning pictures of nice design elements I would want in my future house or apartment. But, I learned from the video Serious Play by Paula Scher that creativity is key to design and what keeps creativity flowing in the design world is inexperience. Scher explains that some of her best work was when she was young and ignorant to what was considered design quality. She said that the reason for this is…

    What About Audio ?

My experience with audio is limited to just listening to music and ebook. The only time I have made an audio is when I am making a recording of me specking for my foreign language class. I have never had any interest in doing a recording of my self in any setting, so the audio resource page was overwhelming. I never knew how much work was put into sound, but I did read that everyone got the job done so I guess it can’t be that hard, I may even like it in the end. Although I not into making an audio, I do understand the appeal of doing audio as…

The Apocalypse through Picture and Film

When I first heard of the short movie La Jetee, I was excited to watch it because it was French so I thought to myself this must be good. The movie did not turn out how I expected it to be but, it was not bad. I found the plot line interesting, because it gave a different glimpse of the tragedies of World War II. I also liked how the the director used photos to show what the man was dreaming of under the experiment. The photos were used in series, so you not only knew what the man was dreaming about, a viewer could also see a story forming…

    Short Reading Review

In my daily web surfing, I came across some short stories about “The End” and it turn out there is a lot apoc/post-apoc genres. My favorites among the many creative stories were the books Tupac Shakur and the End of the World by Sandra McDonald and Finis by Frank L. Pollack. The short story by Sandra McDonald is about really enjoyed reading the authors different versions of the apocalypse in their short stories because they were very original. In short story by Sandra McDonald the collapse of human society is started by this disease called the Creep that starts off with a bump or a bruise or two on the body but, then…

Apocalpyse Starter Kit and Reading Reflection

I started watching and reading apocalypse stories online, just out of curiosity to see if the world had any idea on what was to befall on the earth. And my results were both right on point and some were way off base. Such as the show the Walking dead and The End a BBC special.  In each one brought out a different response out of me, The walking dead, really felt like my life story. To just woke up and seeing your friends and family bring preyed upon to be eaten is horrifying. There is nothing you can do other then to try to survive. It just really spoke to me because it…
